   Fine motor skills development is an important component of early childhood development. The children engage in many learning activities to develop the pincer grip, the ability to hold objects between the thumb and index finger. Push pinning is a favorite activity of the children. The children use large push pins to create small holes, resulting in pushing out a shape.
